To be eligible, you need to have completed a 2- or 3-year college program, or hold an NC III or NC IV certificate. It shows you’ve built a solid foundation to take the next step in your journey.

We’re looking for candidates with at least 2 years of international work experience. This shows that you’re familiar with international standards and comfortable working in different environments.

The Rot-Weiß-Rot Card is a residence and work permit for skilled workers from non-EU countries. It allows applicants to work and live in Austria under specific eligibility criteria.

  • A skilled worker in shortage occupations.
  • A university graduate in Austria.
  • A self-employed key worker.
    Eligibility is determined based on a points system, which considers qualifications, professional experience, language skills, and age.

The Rot-Weiß-Rot Card Plus allows family members of Rot-Weiß-Rot Cardholders to live and work in Austria without restrictions on the type of employment.
